Box Tops Deadline coming up! (February 9th)

Field Day 2012

FIELD DAY is coming...Friday, March 2, 2012.

Our students love this annual event sponsored by FPAC.   Field Day is scheduled for Friday, March 2nd (weather permitting).   Each class will participate in either:
  • morning session (9-11am, K(am/pm) - 2nd grade) or
  • afternoon session (1-3 pm, 3rd - 6th grade)
There will be many different events, including:

- obstacle course
- long jump
- balloon pop relay
- 50 yard dash
- and many more!

Volunteers are needed!  In order to be a success, we need at least two parents at each activity, three to help with ribbons, one parent attendant to chaperone each class, and several volunteers before Field Day to help with preparations.  Depending on your schedule, please let us know if you can help either at the morning session or the afternoon or both.   If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Angela Elting, darbelting@yahoo.com, or 480-241-2323.  We appreciate your help in advance for making Field Day a success.  This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in your child's school.

Poetry Recitation Results

Poetry Recitation Results
The Poetry Recitation Contest was held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. We had participation from twenty-seven students from grades 1-6. All of our contestants did an excellent job of selecting and memorizing a published poem that they recited before an audience and a panel of judges. Each student who participated should be proud of their accomplishment.

The FPAC would like to extend a special thank you to our panel of judges – Heather McLeskey, Muhummud Siddiqui. Teresa Adair, Dawn Hogans, and Melanie Parkinson. Parental involvement is vital to the continued success of our students. Thank you.

We would also like to recognize our first and second-place winners from each grade. Each winner received a medal, certificate, and the opportunity to recite their poem at flag ceremony and at the Christmas Program. Congratulations to:
