It's getting close to that time again!

The Daddy/Daughter Dance and the Mother/Son Dodgeball Tourney is just around the corner!

The Daddy/Daughter Dance is Monday, September 9th and the Mother/Son Dodgeball Tourney is Monday, September 16th.

Both events will be in the BFCS-Gilbert gym from 6:00-7:00pm on their respective days.

Watch for the Sign-Up Genius link in the next few days to donate ice cream and sodas so our Jaguars and parents can have ice cream floats at both events!

Can you help with Teacher Lunches?

During Parent-Teacher Conference week (Sep. 3-6) the BFCS staff and teachers are here early and stay late so they can talk to you, the parents!  So let's take something off their minds....we’re going to provide lunch for them those days!  

The themes for each day are...
Tuesday-  Taco Tuesday
Wednesday-  Salad and Baked Potatoes
Thursday- Picnic and Potluck Favorites
Friday- Football Friday Tailgate Party

Scan for our School!

The Box Tops collecting has begun!  And there are 2 ways we can earn money with Box Tops!

First, we have our traditional way... if you see a pink and purple Box Top then clip it and have your child turn it in to his or her teacher.

Second, we have the new way... if you see a red and blue Box Top then simply scan the receipt to the Box Tops for Education app on your smart phone and the Box Top will automatically be added to the school account!  No clipping, no counting... and you can even track how much the school will receive in the app!

BONUS- there are products out there with the clip it Box Tops... yes, please clip it and send it in... but then make sure you scan the receipt!  Until the transition finishes to ALL digital Box Tops, we could earn DOUBLE Box Tops!!!

Each Box Top is worth ten cents for our school!  And we are working towards purchasing a new slide for the school's playground!

So remember... clip it or scan it!  It's for the school!!!

Health Screening help needed!

Hey hey hey Jaguar families!

School is in full swing, so we are starting with health screenings!

We need some parent volunteers to help with vision, height and weight measurements, while our amazing school nurse checks the kids' hearing.
We will be doing the health screenings Tuesday, August 13th (morning and afternoon) and Thursday, August 15th (morning only).

Please do not bring small children who are not yet in school, as we will be behind the security doors to conduct the screenings.

Is there any reason why you couldn't come and help a couple of hours with the screenings?
