Random Acts of Kindness Week

Random Acts of Kindness Day is celebrated on February 17th... so this year it kicked off Random Acts of Kindness Week (Feb 18-22)!

I know we don't need to be reminded to be kind... but sometimes we forget, or we get in a rut and don't know what extra we can do...

Kindness is simple... it shouldn't be hard or confusing.  But if you think you've run out of ideas, these calendars were found on the RandomActsOfKindness.org website... 365 ideas of how you can do a random act of kindness each day- and many of them you'll want to share with your kids so they can know the joy of doing random acts of kindness!

FPAC board

It’s that time of year where we look to the future!

Not too far… just to the next school year!

We’re looking for parents who want to get more information or who want to be on next year’s FPAC board.

We’re not asking for you to live at the school!  LOL  But we need people who are willing to put in an hour or two a month to help make the students’ time here more amazing than just the fabulous education they are getting.

You don’t have to be voted on to the board, just be willing to volunteer and help out!

If you have any questions, please contact any FPAC members, or contact your FPAC president, Linda Wheeler, at fpacgilbert@gmail.com.

Teacher Lunches for Parent Teacher Conference Week

It's a well known fact that the Gilbert campus tries our darnedest to take care of not only our Jaguar students, but also our Jaguar teachers!

This week is Parent-Teacher Conference week...
that means the students have early release!

BUT... the teachers are here early and they stay late so that we (the parents) have ample opportunity to talk to the teachers should we need to do so!  So let's take a little bit off of their mind by providing delicious lunches for them all week!

Please use the link below to sign up for an item to help feed our awesome educators!

Keep collecting Box Tops!

We are in the home stretch!  10 more days to collect Box Tops for THIS school year!

Friday, February 22 is the last day to turn in Box Tops for the 2018-2019 school year!  And we are pushing for our best month ever in Box Top collection!

In fact, you can save money on the annual Color Run by turning in Box Tops!  For every 5 Box Tops you turn in with your Color Run registration, you get $1 off your wristband price!  Turn the Box Tops in with your Color Run registration.
AND!!!  The Box Tops turned in will still count towards the class competition!

But please be aware... we can not turn in expired Box Tops.  The above picture is from January 2019... there are over 200 Box Tops piled up in that picture.
Those are the Box Tops collected in January that are expired.  The Box Tops organization has, in the past, not given out the Box Tops earned checks due to an abundance of expired Box Tops...  OH NO!  We want to make sure that this does not happen to us!
Please make sure that the Box Tops you send in are not expired.

Any Box Tops turned in after the deadline will go towards the next school year (2019-2020) so we will still collect those Box Tops!

Thank you parents!

THANK YOU

to all of the parents who were able to help at Field Day!  Without your help, Field Day would not have happened!

I am voluntarily participating in the aforementioned Activity and I am participating in the Activity entirely at my own risk.  I am aware of the risks associated with traveling to and from as well as participating in this Activity, which may include, but are not limited to, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and death, I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others’ negligence, conditions related to travel, or the condition of the Activity location(s).  Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during this Activity.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless BFCS-FPAC against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone else acting on my behalf.  If BFCS-FPAC incurs any of these types of expenses, I agree to reimburse BFCS-FPAC.
I acknowledge that BFCS-FPAC and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entry conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of BFCS-FPAC.

In the event that I should require medical care or treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.  I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.
In the event that any damage to equipment or facilities occurs as a result of my or my family’s willful actions, neglect or recklessness.  I acknowledge and agree to be held liable for any and all costs associated with any actions of neglect or recklessness.
This agreement was entered into at arm’s-length, without duress or coercion, and is to be interpreted as an agreement two parties of equal bargaining strength.  Both the Participant and BFCS-FPAC agree that this Agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence will be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this Agreement, but that it will be interpreted based on the language in accordance with the purposes for which it is entered into.

In the event that any provision contained within this Release of Liability shall be deemed to be severable or invalid, or if any term, condition, phrase or portion of this agreement shall be determined to be unlawful or otherwise unenforceable the remainder of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect, so long as the clause severed does not affect the intent of the parties.  If a court should find that any provision of this agreement to be invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting said provision it would become valid and enforceable, then said provision shall be deemed to be written construed and enforced as so limited.
