Raffle tickets - $10 for a sheet of 25 tickets

How Does the Raffle work?

1 - Buy your sheet of raffle tickets – there are 25 tear off tickets to a sheet.

2 - At the Fall Festival you view all the available prizes displayed in the MPR.

3 - Decide on the ones you would like to try and win and then ‘bid’ on them by putting a raffle ticket in the container next to that prize.

***  You can put as many tickets in as you like to try and improve your chances of winning.  MAKE SURE YOUKEEP HOLD OF THE DOOR COUPON/’HOLD THIS STUB’ PART– you need this to claim your prize. ***

4 – At 3:30 the drawing for the prizes begins.

5 - If your ticket is drawn, you win that prize.

Good Luck!

Fall Festival is coming......

BFCS Families,

We are still in need of quite a few volunteers to help with this years Fall Festival.

It really is a fun day and everyone has a great time, getting involved is a great way to meet people and confirm what we already know - we have a great school community!

We are looking for help with:-

Game Booths
just 30 minutes of your time
Set up and Clean up
EZ Ups and Tables - easy!
Concessions
selling snacks, drinks, cotton candy, sno-cones
Book Fair
Take payment for books
Ticket Sales
Pre Sales and on the day

Can you donate to the Silent Auction/Raffle?
Tax Deductible!
Got a business, service or product you would like to promote?
Think about donating!

Each class is collecting themed items for the silent auction also, please help your teacher fill those collection boxes!

We are aware that we are asking for a lot of help and donations all at the same time, but please remember that this is our one big FUNdraiser for the whole school year.  We rely on this Fall Festival to fund Family Fun Nights, Art and Music Masterpiece and Field Day and many other events and activities that FPAC are trusted to run through the year....and we cant do it without the help of our fantastic families!

Please email
fpacgilbert@gmail.com
if you can help.

THANK YOU!

Fall Festival Q & A

Here is a brief Q&A about Fall Festival:-

Q: WHEN is the Fall Festival?

A:  Saturday November 2, from 1pm - 4pm

Q: WHAT is the Fall Festival?

A:  Its a super fun day - there are lots of fun events happening.  It is the one big fundraiser that FPAC do to raise funds for this school year.

Q:  What is AT the Fall Festival?

A:   Its so much FUN!  There are game booths, bounce houses, a HUGE inflatable slide, cakewalk, ROCK WALL along with a book fair and the big silent auction and raffle.

Also, our very own Mrs Smith will be selling and signing her book...yes, our 6th grade teacher is a published author!

Q:  How much does it cost?

A:  Wristbands are $7 pre sale, $10 on the day
      Concession tickets are 50c each
A sheet of raffle tickets is $10

Q:  What is included in the wristband price?

A:   Wristbands are good for:-
  • All game booths
  • All inflatable bounce houses and the giant slide
  • The Rock Wall

Q:  What are the raffle tickets for?

A:  There will be a tricky tray style raffle.  You put a raffle ticket in the cup next to the item you would like to win, then wait to see if your ticket is drawn.

There are 25 rip off tickets to each raffle ticket sheet.

Q:  What is the Silent Auction?

A:  You can bid on items using a paper bid sheet, if you are the highest bidder - you pay for your item and take it home.

Q:  Do I need to bring money to the Fall Festival?

A:  You will need money for:-

  • Book fair (accepts cash, credit card and checks)
  • Any raffle tickets, wristbands or concession tickets bought on the day (cash or check)
  • Mrs Smiths booth (cash or check)

Q:  How can I help?

A:  FPAC are busy rallying volunteers to help with:-
  • set up/clean up
  • run game booths
  • supervise bouncy houses
  • run the cake walk
  • sell tickets
  • help with book fair
  • collect donations for the raffle and silent auction

Of course a huge event like this can't work unless everyone pitches in.  Half an hour of your time is all we ask.....its a great way to meet other BFCS families and students.  Every year people say how much fun they had working a game booth or manning a bounce house - please do sign up to help when asked, lots of opportunity to get involved!

Please watch out for information coming home in your childs folder - class basket donations start this week and please, if you know anyone who would be willing to donate a product or service please email us at FPACGilbert@gmail.com for a tax ID letter.

THANK YOU!

News from FPAC....

Mr Farnsworth came along to the FPAC meeting on Tuesday - a pleasant surprise indeed.  (Mr Farnsworth runs the business side of all the BFCS campuses for those who aren't familiar with him.)

He was very detailed in answering questions and explaining the delays regarding the playground - we even saw a sneak peak of the layout design - exciting!

THIS sort of Pork Chop!
Not this type of Pork Chop!

We discussed the parking lot, had an explanation of the arrival of the 'pork chop' and those arrows that all face the same way.

He shared plans for:-

 - the stage, which will see the arrival of a dividing wall so Mr Blau can teach music in his own space.

-  the expansion of the kitchen area so the students can collect their lunches in a more organised fashion.

-  an overflow parking area out the back.

Mr Farnsworth was very open and honest in sharing some of the frustrations regarding contractors, financing and permits, zones, codes and other business factors that that he takes care of.

If you like to know more details of what was said, please email us at fpacgilbert@gmail.com or find one of us at school and we'd be more than happy to tell you what we know!

Thank you to Mr Farnsworth for dropping in!

We greatly appreciate you taking the time to come and talk to us.
