A heartfelt note from the 6th grade Students of the Year

The 2013-14 Citizen of the Year Awards for both 6th grade classes went to twin sisters Autumn and Amber Tingue.

This is very high achievement, that can be attributed to many factors but a glaring truth is that they have attended BFCS for all 7 years of elementary school and the teachers, faculty and staff have supported an expectation that is not found on every school campus.

When you reward virtues like generosity, honesty and gratitude, mysteriously you grow students the exemplify those and so many other important virtues.

Today, we are very proud parents but more importantly so grateful to all of you that have taken on the mission to instill the most important factors in the development of our wonderful daughters.

Thank you All!!!   Mr and Mrs Tingue

Presidential Fitness Awards

“Hey Y’All!”

Our very own Ms. Seawell presented these fine young students with their Presidential Fitness Awards this morning, and explained that although the program itself was a little easier this year due to some changes, here at BFCS the students were still expected to reach last years goals…work harder and stronger than everyone else.....and they did a fine job.
Presidential Award Recipients

Ms. Seawell asked all the 6th graders who earned this award in 3rd, 4rd, 5th and 6th grade to step forward too – that’s a great achievement Ladies and Gents!

Well done 6th graders - received the award every year since 3rd grade

Well done everyone!  And thank you to Ms. Seawell for making P.E. so much fun and always encouraging our children to do their best.  Ms. Seawell Rocks!

Towels - $25 if we get enough interest!

FPAC presented all the teachers and staff with this lovely towel and we have had some parents asking if they are available for purchase.

As we only bought enough to give as gifts we do not hold any stock.  The printing company requires a minimum order of 50 before they will take an order so we are sending this out to see if we can drum up that much interest.

The cost of the towel is $25.  Each student, teacher and aide has signed it.  It really is quite special!

There is a towel on display in the front office.  We only have until Friday to take orders so if you interested please come by in the next few days.  We are taking payment but if we do not have enough orders we will return your money to you next week.  We expect delivery to be mid-end June so we will have them ready for collection when summer school starts in July.

Any questions please email fpacgilbert@gmail.com

Thanks!
